Check Out These Cheeks!

Push Ups

Chloe had a rough day yesterday. Her reflux has been really bad and she spent most of the day screaming. At one point, I tried to put her on her stomach on her play mat to see if that helped any. It only lasted five minutes or so, but I managed to take a few pictures. She's doing very well pushing herself up and holding her head up when she's on her stomach.

Charlie Brown

I tried to convince Cole to sing a slightly more appropriate song, but he obviously doesn't love this one quite as much as the butt one.

Cole Entertains

Yesterday Cole was singing for me while we waited to pick Chase up from swim team practice. He sings this song ALL the time. Fortunately, he is not completely understandable due to some sinus congestion and his fake southern accent, because I don't think his teachers would appreciate him singing about how he loves chasing those big butt women...

Chloe

Miss Chloe made her grand entrance just after midnight on June 1. I was so sure she was going to be born in May, but we think she was just waiting for it to be hurricane season. She was quite the delicate little flower, weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds, seven ounces. The nurses in the delivery room had to go get bigger diapers, since the newborn ones wouldn't fit.

Chase and Cole were so excited and have been great with her. We haven't seen any signs of jealousy yet, which is surprising because we really expected Cole to have a hard time with a new baby. As you can see, he loves his baby sister:

And here's Chloe with her biggest brother:

Chloe snoozing in the swing (Thanks Mrs. Jane!):

I don't have time to write much else; she's due to wake up to eat any minute now and doesn't like to be kept waiting. Just wanted to take a minute and post about how much fun we're having with our new addition!

Chloe Caroline

Our hospital's billboard:

More details to follow when I have a few spare moments, but yes, that does say NINE pounds. She won't be spending much time in newborn clothes...
